Websites and automation, built around the way you work.

I help businesses make their websites clearer and their day to day processes simpler, using practical digital solutions that solve real problems rather than adding another layer of complexity.

Website First Impression Review

USD 95About AED 350

For a small business or independent service whose website needs to explain what it offers more clearly.

  • Whether a new visitor can tell what you offer within the first few seconds.
  • Your main menu and the route from arriving on the site to sending an enquiry.
  • The three changes I would make first, as a short written report or a recorded walkthrough.
  • Back to you within two working days of having what I need, once we have agreed the scope.

A practical first look rather than a technical audit. For Google and AI search as well, see the fuller Website Review.

Admin Time Saver Review

USD 125About AED 460

For a small business or a school office losing too much of the week to the same admin jobs.

  • We pick one job that repeats, like answering enquiries or chasing payments, and I map how it works today.
  • Two or three places where it could be simpler or could run by itself.
  • The tool or approach I would use and why it suits the way you work.
  • A short summary of the next steps, which you can take on yourself or ask me to build.

A recommendation for one workflow, not the build, and no promise of hours saved before I have seen the job. Any build is quoted separately as Time back.

One Small Fix

From USD 75About AED 275

For when you need one clearly defined thing sorted rather than a whole project.

  • A correction to the words or the layout on one part of your website.
  • A contact form that works better and tells you when someone has written.
  • A clearer route from your homepage to your enquiry button.
  • A small change to how bookings or one simple process work.

The final price is agreed before I start and each fix has a set limit. Anything bigger gets its own quote first.

See how it works

Want something like this for your own bookings? Start with the Admin Time Saver Review, USD 125.

How a build goes.

  1. First

We look at what you have.

A call, then a plain plan: what the site has to do, who it is for and what it will say.

  2. Within days

    You see the homepage.

The look and the words for the first page, before anything else is built, so the rest is built on something you have already approved.

  3. Then

    The rest is built.

Every other page, the forms, the phone version and the security checks.

  4. Launch day

    Handover.

Your web address connected, the guide written and a walk through together. Then it is yours.

Step 2 The homepage is the page I spend longest on: the layout, the spacing and which fonts to use and at what size, tried a few ways until it feels right. We go through it together and you approve it before anything else is built. The fonts, colours and spacing shown are the ones the Aldergate homepage really uses.

The second half is only paid when the finished site is handed over.

One price, agreed before we start.

Each figure is the price for that scope. You get it in writing before any work begins and it does not move unless the scope does. Prices are in US dollars, which is what you are invoiced in. The AED and GBP buttons are there for comparison. School work has its own prices.

Every build includes up to 5 pages, two rounds of revisions and full handover. What counts as a page: one standard content page such as Home, About, Services or Contact. A long scrolling homepage is still one page. Anything with a form, a gallery or a special layout counts as a page. Extra pages: USD 165 each or three for USD 410. A round of revisions: one consolidated set of changes sent in one go. After two rounds, further changes are USD 55 an hour. Larger sites, online shops and booking systems quoted on request.

What it connects

Everything is built on accounts you own, so nothing is locked to me. Bookings run through a tool such as Bookeo or Calendly and land in Google Calendar. Payments go through Stripe and messages through WhatsApp Business.

Tools such as a booking system are paid directly by you, usually USD 15 to 40 a month. If you have Website Care, I check your automations each month as part of it.

Your website shouldn't be the last thing you make.

Once it is built, I can keep making the social media content that brings people back to it, without you having to become a content creator yourself.

The first month is included with a Build & Launch website, so there is nothing extra for you to provide. From month two, you send me a few phone clips and I turn them into finished content for you.

I create 10 finished pieces a month, using a mix of reels, website content and ideas developed specifically for your business. You don't need to know what to film or how to edit it. You just give me the raw material and I do the rest.

Working with Amy was an excellent experience. She didn't just focus on a visually appealing website, she took the time to understand how our business operates and what we're trying to achieve. At this stage our priority is generating quality enquiries before launching a full store, and Amy adapted the site around that strategy. She was responsive, patient and creative, and turned our ideas into something that actually works. We'd highly recommend her to anyone looking for a designer who goes beyond just design.

Bashry and HiranthaFounders of Karspares

I'm so happy with the website Amy created for me for Return to Freedom. Her attention to detail and willingness to listen to exactly what I wanted was impressive. She was incredibly patient throughout and seemed to know exactly what I had in mind. I absolutely love my new website, and the price was incredibly affordable too. I'll definitely be using Amy again.

Fiona DayReturn to Freedom
Portrait of Amy Garside, smiling outdoors

Hello, I am Amy.

I design websites for businesses and schools, along with the automations that take the routine admin off people's hands. Amy Garside Media is just me, which means the person you talk to is the person who does the work.

I work with a small number of businesses and schools that need their online presence to actually make sense to the people they are trying to reach.

A lot of the time, the problem is not that there is nothing there. There is usually too much of it. Too many words, too many competing messages, a website that has grown bit by bit without anyone stepping back to ask whether it still does its job.

I help make that clearer.

That might mean shaping a website from the ground up, working out what needs to be said and what can be left out or creating content that sounds like the people behind the business rather than something produced by a marketing department.

I work from Dubai with clients in the UK and the Gulf. UK afternoons are my working hours. Because I keep the number of projects small, you deal with me from the first conversation through to the finished work. There is no account manager to pass things through and no large team appearing halfway through the project. My own business runs on a dashboard and automations I built myself.

Alongside Amy Garside Media, I work in education and have spent 23 years helping people find their voice, explain complicated things clearly and communicate with very different audiences. I also make documentary films through Beyond the Expected. Client reels are cut the same way as the films.

The automation side comes from the same place. I would much rather technology took the repetitive jobs off people's hands, so they have more time for the part of the work they are actually there for, and my own business already runs that way.

So, yes, there are a few different strands to what I do. They all come back to the same thing: figuring out what matters, finding the right way to say it and making sure people actually notice.

Amy

Questions, answered.

A few things people usually want to know before they start.

Do I own everything at the end?

Yes, all of it. The website, the brand, the accounts and the files are yours. Nothing is locked to me and you can take it anywhere.

What if I want changes to the design?

You see the homepage before anything else is built and we go through it together, so the rest of the site is built on a design you have already approved. Two rounds of changes are included in the price. The second half is only paid when the finished site is handed over.

How long does it take?

A one page site is live within a week. A five page site takes two to three weeks. The launch date goes in the diary before we start and I keep you posted as we go.

How does payment work?

Split in two. Half up front to get started and the other half when the site is finished and handed over to you. School audits, microsites and rebuilds work the same way, with the audit paid half up front and half on delivery. Invoices are sent by email in US dollars and you pay them securely by card through Stripe. Website Care is a flat monthly fee with no contract.

What is the difference between the two website reviews?

The First Impression Review, at USD 95, looks at what a new visitor sees and whether your offer and the route to an enquiry are clear, then gives you the three changes to make first. The Website Review, at USD 245, goes through the whole site the way a customer would, including how you come up on Google and in AI search. You get a full list of fixes, most important first, and the fee comes off a build if you go on to one.

Is my website secure?

Yes. Every site I build runs over a secure encrypted connection, so visitors see the padlock in their browser and anything they send through a form stays private. I build in industry standard security protections and check each site against the recognised scanners before it goes live.

I am not very technical. Will I be able to run it myself?

That is the whole idea. I build it so you can actually manage it and I hand it over with a plain guide so you can make updates without needing me.

Can you build me an online shop?

Yes, in the way that keeps you safe. I build your whole site by hand, then connect a trusted checkout like Shopify or Stripe to handle the payments. If you want a full online shop we can plan it together and I will quote it for you.

What if an automation stops working while I'm busy?

Each one is set up to alert me if a step fails, so I can usually fix it before a customer notices. If you have Website Care, checking and fixing your automations is part of it. If not, fixes are charged at the hourly rate in the small print.

Will my customers know the replies are automatic?

The messages come from your business and read like you wrote them, because we write them together before anything goes live. Anything out of the ordinary, like a group booking or a complaint, comes straight to you instead of getting an automatic answer.

Do you work with schools?

Yes. I have taught in schools for 23 years and I build school websites from the parent's side of the desk. Schools usually start with the admissions website audit or with a specialist microsite for one programme such as DofE, theatre or music.

Do I have to commit to the monthly support?

Not at all. Website Care is optional and there is no contract. If you do have it, each month I look at how your business comes up in Google and in AI tools, make one improvement based on what I find and send you a short note about it.

Start whenever suits.

The quickest start is the brief: seven short questions, one at a time, about three minutes. I read every one myself and reply within one business day. My hours are Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm Dubai time.

WhatsApp and email both reach me the same working day. You can also write to amy@amygarsidemedia.com.
